Partnering with Local Government - first part

MartinJenkins has formalised its partnership with local government by joining the LGNZ Preferred Partner membership scheme.

Local Government New Zealand’s new programme highlights organisations that deliver value to local government in New Zealand, as part of LGNZ’s on-going commitment to strengthen governance and performance in the sector.

Local government is an important focus for MartinJenkins, says Managing Director Kevin Jenkins.

“Our aim in this work is to lift not only the client’s performance but also their community’s social, economic and organisational standing. Working with local government provides an opportunity for us to put our organisational and economic expertise to really good use for communities at the local level.
Not only can we bring our technical skills to bear, but we can also help build links to central government, and councils’ understanding of commercial and national imperatives that affect them.”

The LGNZ Preferred Partner membership scheme was a good example of collaborative approach in action.
